About Me
I live in a converted elementary school with my husband in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Even though I dream of living at the beach, we are lucky to have a number of beautiful locations in and around our town to use as the perfect backdrop for photos. I have had a camera in my hands as long as I could remember and would come home from a vacation with (literally) a thousand photographs. A couple years ago I bought myself a DSLR and decided to take a few photography courses at our local community college to learn the basics. I didn't know I would fall in love! I started doing sessions for friends and family and when the pandemic hit, photography became an outlet for me and gave me purpose. I took several online courses during that time, created a photo challenge for myself and took a photo every day that I was home. I believe that time helped me grow creatively and realize just how passionate I was about photography.
These days I photograph for a local portrait studio and teach dance to little ones. I collect vintage cameras, consume large amounts of coffee, watch true crime documentaries, my favorite color is blue, I hike in the woods, chase sunsets, and travel any chance I get. I love getting to know my clients, capturing real and authentic moments, and providing an experience as unique as those in front of my camera.
